Guild has introduced the Starfire Deluxe Bass, a new interpretation of the company’s Starfire Bass II. The semi-hollow bass is part of the Newark St. Collection of vintage-inspired guitars and basses.
The company connects the model with its bass designs popularized by rock players in the 1960s. Those instruments used BS-1 BiSonic single-coil pickups as part of their sound.
The Starfire Deluxe Bass combines references to that period with contemporary appointments. Guild lists Sweet Tea and metallic Teal the Deal gloss finishes for the new model.
