Italian integrator Puparo Music has installed a scalable LD Systems audio network at Villa Eloise, a restored 18th-century palace near Rome. The multizone system was designed to integrate modern event technology while limiting changes to the historic building.
LD Systems NMP 32 and NMP 8 audio matrices handle processing and routing. DIO 44 Dante interfaces connect the villa’s individual areas, with PoE switches and local amplifiers forming a decentralized network. Concealed Cat6A cabling and discreet mounting help preserve the building’s appearance.
The installation uses IMA 60 and IMA 120 mixing amplifiers, TICA-series AMP 106 Tand AMP 205 amplifiers, and IPA 424 TDSP power amplifiers with X-EDAI Dante expansion cards.
The QUESTRA design and management platform provides central monitoring and control. Staff can select sources, adjust volume and recall presets through a QTP 8 touchscreen panel and an iPad. RSMP and MSMP media players supply background music, internet radio and separate playlists for different zones.
