Italian audio, lighting, and musical instrument group Proel has appointed Polar as its exclusive distributor for the United Kingdom and Ireland. According to a report by LSi Online, this strategic distribution agreement tasks Polar with managing the supply chain for Proel Sound System, Proel Stage Equipment, and Eikon microphones and headphones across both territories.
Polar Managing Director John Midgley stated that adding these premium Italian brands strengthens the distributor’s existing portfolio, offering customers an expanded range of product choices. He noted that Proel’s customer-centric ethos aligns with Polar’s operational standards. On the manufacturing side, Proel CEO Giacomo Sorbi described the move as a key step in re-evaluating the company’s global distribution approach. Sorbi indicated that partnering with an established local entity like Polar will improve delivery times, logistics, and technical support for dealers.
This shift allows Proel to concentrate internal resources on product innovation and quality control while relying on Polar’s experienced team for local market execution.
