Qu-Bit Electronix has released Bloom v2, a three-channel CV and gate sequencer for Eurorack modular synthesizer systems. The Daisy-based module expands the original Bloom with longer sequences, another channel and additional editing controls.
Bloom v2 generates sequences of up to 64 steps from an eight-step trunk and seven branches. Users can edit note pitch, gate state and length, slew and ratcheting for each step. A reseed button generates new sequence data.
The module can save and load sequences and branches using a connected USB drive. Qu-Bit’s Narwhal web application provides a sequence editor with access to branch steps, allowing users to program sequences of up to 512 steps and adjust module settings. Sequences can be saved as individual files and shared.
Each channel has a modulation output alongside its note and gate outputs. Modulation modes include LFO shapes, attack-decay envelopes and stepped voltage. The revised panel arranges the main step encoders horizontally, with illuminated artwork identifying the active editing mode. Bloom v2 was announced June 18, 2025.
