RockBoard has expanded its product lineup with the introduction of Second Tiers, a pedalboard expansion system designed to accommodate modern rigs utilizing modelers and loop switchers. According to a report by No Treble, the manufacturer developed this accessory in response to significant market demand for increased board real estate without sacrificing accessibility to frequently used controls.
No Treble states that the new tiers feature fully opening tops capable of locking at various angles, allowing musicians to reach pedals stored underneath while keeping less-used units securely mounted below. The system attaches directly to existing RockBoard hole structures using screws to prevent shifting during transport. The company offers two sizes measuring 150 mm front to back, with widths of 320 mm and 475 mm respectively, ensuring compatibility with the TRES series and larger boards in the range.
RockBoard plans to debut the Second Tiers at Guitar Summit 2026 in Mannheim, Germany. No Treble reports that pre-orders are currently available, priced at $69.99 for the small version and $89.99 for the large model. This release addresses evolving retailer inventory needs as players increasingly consolidate entire signal chains onto single boards.
