Seagull Guitars has introduced the Artist Peppino D’Agostino 30th Anniversary LTD, celebrating three decades of collaboration with the fingerstyle guitarist.
The Canadian-made acoustic guitar has solid mahogany back and sides, a solid mahogany neck, a 1.9-inch nut width and a 25.5-inch scale length. Its traditional fingerstyle neck profile provides wider string spacing for intricate arrangements and alternate tunings.
Graph Tech Ratio tuners work with Seagull’s straight-pull headstock design. An LR Baggs HiFi dual-source pickup system provides amplification.
A custom rosette and matching interior soundhole label draw on artwork from D’Agostino’s “Venus Over Venice” album. The manufacturer says each instrument is inspected and set up before shipment.
Announced Oct. 7 in Montreal, the limited edition is available through authorized Seagull dealers. The original release lists prices of $3,000 in the United States and 3,549 Canadian dollars. Seagull is part of the Godin family of guitar brands.
