The Audio Engineering Society recently shared the results of its elections for the Board of Directors and Board of Governors, according to a report in audioXpress. The organization's leadership has been updated following the vote.
According to audioXpress, David v. Bowles has been selected as the President-Elect. He will be taking on the role as the Society looks to broaden its reach geographically and emphasize technological advancement, particularly in the realm of product development and industry standards. Cesar Lamschtein, the incoming President, will assume the office in 2027.
Several individuals were also chosen to serve as regional Vice Presidents, including Malik Williams for the Eastern Region, Jess Berg for the Western Region, and Merlijn van Veen for the Northern Region of the USA and Canada. Helen Caddes, Ivo Marković, and Angela Piva have been newly appointed as at-large Governors. Valerie Tyler secured re-election as Secretary.
AES President Brecht De Man emphasized the significance of these elections to the Society's operations, expressing his congratulations to the newly elected officials and anticipating collaboration.
