ILIO has introduced Euphoria, a collection of 137 patches and presets for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 3. Created by producer and sound designer Michael (MIDIhead) Babbitt, the library brings together dancefloor sounds and electronic textures for house, techno, drum and bass, dance pop and other production styles.

Euphoria is MIDIhead's first patch collection for Omnisphere 3. Its sounds include punchy basses, supersaws, lo-fi bells, tempo-locked arpeggios and pulsers, gliding leads, pads and transition effects. The collection draws on electronic music from the 1980s through today, with sounds for rhythmic foundations, melodic hooks and transitions between sections.

The library includes 44 ARP and BPM patches, 49 synth sounds, 27 bass sounds, one texture, five bell tones, three keyboards, four pads, and four sound effects and hits. The arpeggiated patches provide starting points that producers can shape for their own arrangements.

Babbitt is an electronic music producer, songwriter, vocalist and sound designer whose credits include trailers for The Matrix Reloaded, Silent Hill and Mad Max: Fury Road. He has produced ILIO's Omnisphere patch libraries.

Euphoria is listed as a $39 download from ILIO. It requires Spectrasonics Omnisphere version 3, which is sold separately. The ILIO patch library is not included in the Omnisphere factory library. Registered users receive free lifetime updates when available.
