Welsh electronic duo Overmono have released Diamond Cut, a bus processor plugin developed with Finnish plug-in company Project Miracle, according to MusicTech. The plugin combines five processing modules built around the duo’s mixing workflow.

MusicTech reports that Diamond Cut includes a six-mode limiter ranging from clean to aggressive, a Balance EQ system for tonal shaping, Soft Saturation for harmonic content, a Weight psychoacoustic bass enhancer and a Width stereo-widening module. The interface also features loudness metering, input and output controls, a preset browser, oversampling and dithering options.

Project Miracle Ltd., a company of music producers, software engineers and designers, said development began in 2023 and the plugin is its first release, MusicTech reports. The company aims to build intuitive tools for producers.

According to MusicTech, Overmono said the plugin preserves transients, glues and crunches the end of a chain in a way they could not find elsewhere. Diamond Cut is available now for £89/$109/€99, with a 14-day free trial and rent-to-own plan offered.
