Yamaha Music India has officially launched the PSR-SX620 arranger workstation, a new product aimed at intermediate musicians and keyboard students seeking enhanced creative control. According to a report by The Daily Jagran, this latest addition to the manufacturer’s lineup carries a retail price of Rs 94,990 in the Indian market.
The source states the instrument features a library containing over 1,000 voices and 450 accompaniment styles, including more than 130 Super Articulation Voices designed to increase performance realism. Ryoji Maruyama, Sales Unit Head at Yamaha Music India, described the workstation as a significant addition that addresses the needs of contemporary players through its extensive sound array.
New hardware controls include a joystick for expressive pitch and modulation adjustments, alongside a Chord Looper capable of recording and retrieving up to eight chord patterns for live use. The Daily Jagran notes that Bluetooth audio connectivity allows users to wirelessly stream music from external devices, while a built-in audio recorder facilitates session capture. Rehan Siddiqui, General Manager of the MI-Sales and Marketing Division, indicated that these features provide musicians the freedom to refine their skills and explore new sonic territories within the current music-products landscape.
