Yamaha will present six workshops at AES Show Nashville, giving attendees hands-on time with its new DM5 Series digital mixing consoles and practical approaches to live sound production, fohonline.com reported. The sessions run Saturday and Sunday in Ryman Studio 10/11.
The program features three “Discover DM5!” sessions where Yamaha engineers will examine the platform’s signal architecture, workflow design, processing capabilities and integration options, with demonstrations focused on efficient console operation in live production environments. Additional workshops will address simplifying complex audio-control systems, applying asymmetrical loudspeaker dispersion and understanding how audio processors shape a mix.
Yamaha Pro Audio Field Marketing Engineer Chip Allen said the workshops give attendees a chance to hear results, explore workflow and build skills they can take into their next production. The Saturday schedule includes Discover DM5! at 11:00 a.m., Simplifying Audio Control at 1:00 p.m. and a second Discover DM5! at 3:00 p.m. Sunday sessions cover Discover DM5! at 11:00 a.m., Asymmetrical Loudspeaker Dispersion at 1:00 p.m. and Audio Plugins and Processors at 3:00 p.m.
AES Show Nashville 2026 takes place October 30 through November 1 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center.
